MySpace IM (HTC Touch Pro II)

Signing in

To sign in, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, tap Start.
2. Tap Instant Messaging.
3. Tap MySpace IM.
4. If MySpace IM is disabled, tap Yes to enable MySpace IM.
5. Tap Accept to accept terms of use.
6. Enter your e-mail addresss and password.
7. If desired, select the Sign In as Hidden, Save Password, or Automatic Sign In check boxes.

Signing out

To sign out, perform the following steps:
1. Tap Options.
2. Tap Exit.
3. Tap the Down Arrow.
4. Tap Sign out.
5. Tap Yes.

Adding a contact

To add a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the My Space Messenger screen, tap Options.
2. Tap Contact options.
3. Tap Add contact.
4. Enter the new contact's e-mail address.
5. If desired, enter the new contact's nickname.
6. Tap Add.
7. Tap OK.

Blocking a contact

To block a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the My Space Messenger screen, tap the contact you want to block.
2. Tap Options.
3. Tap Contact options.
4. Tap Block contact.
5. Tap OK.

Deleting a contact

To delete a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the My Space Messenger screen, tap the contact you want to delete.
2. Tap Options.
3. Tap Contact options.
4. Tap Delete.
5. Tap OK.

Sending a message to a contact

To send a message to a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the My Space Messenger screen, tap the contact you want to send a message to.
2. Tap Send IM.
3. Enter a message to your contact.
4. Tap Send IM.

Sending a message to an unlisted contact

To send a message to an unlisted contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the My Space Messenger screen, tap Send to.
2. Enter the username.
3. Tap OK.
4. Enter your message.
5. Tap Send IM.

Setting the away status

To set the away status, perform the following steps:
1. At the My Space Messenger screen, tap My Status.
2. Tap Away.
