Accessing the music player

To access the music player, perform the following steps:
1. Open the flip.
2. Select Menu.
3. Scroll to and select Media.
4. Scroll to and select Music.
5. Select Music player.

Moving music from a computer to a memory card

To move music from a computer to a memory card, perform the following steps:
1. Open the flip.
2. At the main screen, select Menu.
3. Scroll to and select Settings.
4. Scroll to and select Personalize.
5. Scroll to and select Phone settings.
6. Scroll to and select USB mode.
7. Scroll to and select Mass storage.
8. Select Save.
9. Plug the USB cable into your computer’s USB port.
10. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your phone.
NOTE: You may need to put the phone in Idle Mode. Press the red End key to return to the main screen.
11. On your computer, in the Removable disk window, highlight Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

12. Click OK.
NOTE: If this dialogue box does not appear, double-click My Computer to open an Explorer window and then double-click Removable disk.
13. Navigate to the desired music files on your computer.
14. Right-click your mouse on the files and then click Copy.
15. Navigate to the Sounds folder on your memory card.
16. Right-click your mouse and then click Paste.
IMPORTANT: Do not disconnect the USB cable during a file transfer.
17. When you are finished, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in your computer taskbar.
18. Click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.

Adding files to a playlist

To add files to a playlist, perform one following steps:
1. Open the flip.
2. At the main screen, select Menu.
3. Scroll to and select Media.
4. Scroll to and select Music.
5. Select Music player.
6. Select Playlists.
7. Scroll to and select the desired playlist.
8. Select Options.
9. Select Add.
10. Select Tracks.
11. Scroll to and select the tracks you wish to add.
12. Select Add.

Creating a playlist

To create a playlist, perform the following steps:
1. Open the flip.
2. At the main screen, select Menu.
3. Scroll to and select Media.
4. Scroll to and select Music.
5. Select Music player.
6. Scroll to and select Playlists.
7. Select Create Playlists.
8. Enter a name for the new playlist.
9. Select OK.

Deleting files from a playlist

To delete files from a playlist, perform the following steps:
1. Open the flip.
2. At the main screen, select Menu.
3. Scroll to and select Media.
4. Scroll to and select Music.
5. Select Music player.
6. Scroll to and select Playlists.
7. Scroll to and select the playlist you want to delete tracks from.
8. Select Options.
9. Select Remove.
10. Select Selected or Multiple to delete more than one song.
11. Scroll to and select the tracks you want to delete.
12. Select Remove.
13. Select Yes.

5. Select Music player.
6. Scroll to and select Playlists.
7. Scroll to the playlist you want to delete.
8. Select Options.
9. Select Delete.
10. Select Yes to confirm.

Playing files in a playlist

To play files in a playlist, perform the following steps:
1. Open the flip.
2. At the main screen, select Menu.
3. Scroll to and select Media.
4. Scroll to and select Music.
5. Select Music player.
6. Scroll to and select one of the following options:
  • All tracks
  • Artists
  • Albums
  • Playlists
7. Scroll to and select the track you want to play.
8. Select OK to play the selected track.
