-
Powering off and on - The firmware update will assist in limiting the number of times you will need to power off and on your T-Mobile HiPort wireless router
-
Call Volume - If you are experiencing low call volume currently with your T-Mobile @Home service, the firmware update will increase the volume on incoming and outgoing calls
-
Loss of dial tone and/or blue light - The firmware update will help the router recognize when your Internet provider updates your IP address and make sure you do not lose your dial tone or blue light
-
Automated systems - You will have the ability to use automated systems for your bank, health care providers and other businesses
-
Delay in conversation - Presently, you may experience a delay in your conversation when you receive calls. The update will ensure Incoming calls no longer experience a delay in conversation

Dialing - If you dial the incorrect number, you will be able to hang up and dial the correct number without a wait
-

Troubleshooting - If you are having ongoing issues with T-Mobile @Home, our Technical Support team will have the ability to access detailed error logs that will assist in more detailed troubleshooting.
The firmware updates will not fix loss of service (blue light) or Internet connection due to:
- Internet service provider issues such as slow speeds or low quality of service by the provider
- A flashing blue light on your T-Mobile HiPort wireless router – if the light is flashing it means you have a voicemail. To learn how to check your voicemail, go to Check your Voicemail - T-Mobile @Home.
- Loss of power to the T-Mobile HiPort wireless router
- No emergency 9-1-1 address listed on your account. For steps on how to add your emergency 9-1-1 address, go to How do I set up an emergency 9-1-1 address using My T-Mobile?
