Accessing files


Accessing files on the card using the computer

To access files on the card using the computer, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the device to your computer using the provided USB cable.
2. A Removable Disk window will appear on your computer, highlight Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer and then click OK.

Accessing files on the card using the phone

To access files on the card using the phone, perform the following steps:
1. At the Jump screen, roll to Camera and then press the trackball.
2. Roll to Memory Card Album and then press the trackball.
NOTE: To access music files on the memory card, refer to the Music Player section.

Deleting files


Deleting files on card using the computer

To delete files on the card using the computer, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the device to your computer using the provided USB cable.
2. A Removable Disk window will appear on your computer, highlight Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer and then click OK.
3. Click on the file that you want to delete and then press the Delete key on your computer keyboard.
4. Click Yes to confirm.

Deleting files on the card using the phone

To delete files on the card using the phone, perform the following steps:
1. At the Jump screen, roll to Camera and then press the trackball.
2. Roll to Memory Card Album and press the trackball.
3. Roll to the photo that you want to delete.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Roll to Discard Item, and press the trackball.
6. Roll to Discard, and press the trackball.
NOTE: To delete music files on the memory card, refer to the Music Player section.

Inserting the card

Warning: Removing the card in the middle of an operation may damage the memory card, the phone, and the data stored on the card.
To insert the card, perform the following steps:
1. Press down on the back cover and slide the cover off of the device.

2. To insert the memory card, push the memory card into the memory card slot with the gold contacts facing downwards. Push in the memory card until it clicks into place.

Removing the card

To remove the card, perform the following steps:
1. Push in the memory card until it releases from the slot. Grasp the end of the memory card and pull it out of the memory card slot.

2. Replace the back cover and snap it into place.

Moving files


Moving files from the card to the computer

To move files from the card to the computer, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the device to your computer using the provided USB cable.
2. A Removable Disk window will appear on your computer, highlight Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer and then click OK.
3. Drag and drop or copy and paste files from the memory card to a folder on the computer.
4. When you are finished moving files, disconnect the device from the computer.

Moving files from the card to the phone

To move files from the card to the phone, perform the following steps:
1. At the Jump screen, roll to Camera and then press the trackball.
2. Roll to Memory Card Album and then press the trackball.
3. Roll to the desired image and press the Menu key.
4. Roll to Move Item, then Device Album and press the trackball.

Moving files from the computer to the card

To move the files from the computer to the card, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the device to your computer using the provided USB cable.
2. A Removable Disk window will appear on your computer, highlight Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer and then click OK.
3. Drag and drop or copy and paste files from the computer to a folder on the memory card.
4. When you are finished moving files, disconnect the device from the computer.

Moving files from the phone to the card

To move files from the phone to the card, perform the following steps:
1. At the Jump screen, roll to Camera and then press the trackball.
2. Roll to Device Album and press the trackball.
3. Roll to the desired image and press the Menu key.
4. Roll to Move Item, then Memory Card Album and press the trackball.
