Synchronizing wirelessly with Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003 (T-Mobile Shadow™)
To wirelessly synchronize data, without connecting your device to your computer, you must have Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003. The server must be set up for wireless synchronization.
IMPORTANT: To use all available wireless functions, you must have Exchange Server 2003 with Service Pack 2 installed. E-mail deleted from your Outlook e-mail account using your device is also deleted from your inbox on the Exchange Server. To locate deleted messages, view the Deleted Items folder in Outlook on your computer.
You will need the server address, username, password, and domain name from your system administrator.
To synchronize wirelessly with Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the Home screen, select Start, and then ActiveSync. |
| 2. | Select set up your device to sync with it. |
| 3. | At Server address, type the name of the Exchange server, and then select Next. |
| 4. | Type your username, password, and domain name and select Next. |
| 5. | Place a check mark next to the data that you want to synchronize. |
| 6. | Select Finish. |
| 7. | Select Sync. |
