Keys

Access

Send key
At the main screen:
  • With myFaves on screen, press to call the highlighted myFaves® contact.
  • Without myFaves, press to access Call records.
Press to answer a call.
Press to initiate a call.
End key
Press to end a call.
Press and hold to power on or off.
Navigation with Center Select
Within menus, press to scroll Left, Right, Up, and Down.
With myFaves on the main screen:
  • Press Up to access Call records.
  • Press Down to access Contact list.
  • Press Left to navigate left through myFaves contacts.
  • Press Right to navigate right through myFaves contacts.
Without myFaves:
  • Press Up to access Call records.
  • Press Down to access Contact list.
  • Press Left to access New Text Message.
  • Press Right to access Voice Notes.
Left Soft key
At the main screen, press to access Menu.
Right Soft key
At the main screen, press to access t-zones®/web2go.
OK key
With myFaves on the main screen, press to display communication options for the highlighted myFaves contact.
Press to accept or to place a check in a checkbox.
Volume keys –
Located on left side of phone.
Press Up or Down to adjust the volume of an incoming call alert or to increase or decrease earpiece volume during a call.
Numeric keys
Press to type text.
Press and hold to access speed dial.
1 key
Press and hold to access voice mail.
0 key
Press to insert a space when typing text.
Press and hold to insert a plus (+) sign for international calls.
Pound (#) key
When typing text, press to switch among all caps, initial capital, and lowercase letters.
Press and hold to put the phone in Silent mode, which will be completely mute or will have a vibrating alert (default), depending on the Silent mode setting selected.
Star (*) key
Press and hold to access the text message function.
When typing text in T9® predictive text mode, press to switch and choose words.

Description

Indicates the incoming signal strength. The more bars displayed, the stronger the signal.
Displays when you are on a call.
Displays if you leave your service area. When displayed, you cannot make or receive a call.
Displays when the Call Forwarding feature is activated.
Indicates that an alarm is set to ring at a specified time.
Displays when you receive a new text message.
Displays when you receive a new multimedia message.
Displays when you receive a new voice mail message.
Indicates that Silent mode is active.
Indicates that Mute is active.
Indicates that you have set your phone to vibrate when you receive a call.
Indicates the charge level of your battery. The more bars you see, the more power remaining.
Displays when a Bluetooth connection is active.*
Appears when a memory card is in the phone.
