LCD screen icons

Description
Signal Strength Indicator: Vertical bars show the strength of the network connection.
Signal Strength Indicator: You cannot make or receive calls when these icons are visible.












Data Indicator: Shows connection status.
  • Secure data packet transfer.
  • Unsecure data packet transfer.
  • Secure application connection.
  • Unsecure application connection.
  • Secure CSD call.
  • Unsecure CSD call.
  • Bluetooth® connection is active.*
Roam Indicator: Shows when your phone is seeking or using a network outside your home network.
PTT/Active Line Indicator: Shows when you can make and receive PTT calls or both PTT calls and Instant Messages.
Call Forwarding: Shows when call forwarding is on.
Text message.
Voice message.
Voice and text message.
IM message.








Ring Style Indicator:
  • Loud Ring
  • Soft Ring
  • Vibrate & Ring
  • Vibrate then ring
  • Vibrate
  • Silent
Battery Level Indicator: Vertical bars show the battery charge level.

Access
Send key
At the main screen:
  • With myFaves® on screen, press to call the highlighted myFaves contact.
  • Without myFaves, press to access Recent Calls.
Press to answer a call.
Press to access Dialed Calls menu while in idle mode.
End key
Press to end a call.
Press and hold to power on or off.
Navigation with center select
Within the menus, press to scroll Left, Right, Up, and Down.
Without myFaves on the main screen:
  • Press Up to access Recent Calls.
  • Press Down to access Phone book.
  • Press Left to access Message Center.
  • Press Right to access Ring Styles.
  • Press Center of the Navigation key to select.
With myFaves on the main screen:
  • Press Up to access Recent Calls.
  • Press Down to access Phone book.
  • Press Left to navigate through myFaves contacts.
  • Press Right to navigate through myFaves contacts.
  • Press Center of the Navigation key to select the highlighted myFaves contact.
Left Soft key
At the main screen, press to access Shortcuts.
Right Soft key
At the main screen, press to access Main Menu.
t-zones® key
Press to access t-zones.
Cancel key
Press to go back to the previous screen on the phone.
Press to erase characters at the end of a line of text.
Press to go back to the previous Web page.
1 key
Press and hold to access voicemail.
