Dialing a number

To dial a number, perform the following steps:
1. Press the green Send key.
2. Scroll to the text box at the top of the screen.
3. Type the number.
4. Press the green Send key.
OR
1. At the Home screen, type the phone number. The phone dialer screen appears automatically.
2. Press the green Send key.
NOTE: To add a plus (+) sign for international country codes, press and hold the 0 key.

Calling a contact in the phone book

To call a contact in the phone book, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Contacts.
2. Scroll to and highlight the desired contact.
3. Press the green Send key.

Calling voicemail

To call voicemail, press and hold the 1 key.

Answering a call

To answer a call, select Answer or press the green Send key.
NOTE: To reject a call, select Ignore or press the red End key. This sends the caller to voicemail.

Ending a call

To end a call, press the red End key.

Putting a call on hold

To put a call on hold, perform the following steps:
1. Select Answer to accept the second call and to place the first call on hold.
2. Select Swap to swap between calls.
3. Press the red End key to end the second call and go back to the first call.

Muting a call

To mute an active call, select Mute. Select Unmute to turn off the mute feature.
NOTE: During a call, select Menu, and then select Mute or Unmute to turn on or off the mute feature.

Making a phone call from your speed dial list

To make a phone call from your speed dial list, press and hold a number key to call the assigned speed dial contact.

To make a phone call from your speed dial list, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Speed Dial.
3. Scroll to the number you want to call.
4. Press the green Send key.
NOTE: The 1 key is reserved for voicemail. At the Home screen, press and hold the 1 key to call your voicemail.

Making a phone call from your call history list

To make a phone call from your call history list, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Call History.
3. Scroll to and highlight the contact you want to call.
4. Press the green Send key.

Initiating a conference call

To initiate a conference call, perform the following steps:
1. Type the first number and then press the green Send key.
2. When the call is answered, select Menu, and then select Hold to place the first call on hold.
3. Type and initiate the second number.
4. When the call is answered, select Menu, and then select Conference.
NOTE: If the conference connection is successful, the screen displays Conference. To add additional people, select Menu, select Hold, dial the number, and then select Resume.

Having a private conversation

To have a private conversation during a conference call, perform the following steps:
1. During the conference call, select Menu, and then select Private.
2. To switch parties, select Swap.

Using call forwarding

To use call forwarding, select from the following links:

Forwarding calls

To forward calls, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Select Phone.
4. Scroll to and select Call Forwarding.
5. Select No Reply, Busy, or Unavailable.
6. Click to select Enable call forwarding…. A checkmark appears.
7. Scroll to Forward calls to: and type the phone number that you want the calls forwarded to.
8. Scroll to Forward after: and select from the following options:
  • 5 seconds
  • 10 seconds
  • 15 seconds
  • 20 seconds
  • 25 seconds
  • 30 seconds
9. Select Done.

Forwarding all calls (unconditional forwarding)

To forward all calls (unconditional forwarding), perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Select Phone.
4. Scroll to and select Call Forwarding.
5. Select Unconditional.
6. Click to select Enable call forwarding of all calls. A checkmark appears.
7. Scroll to Forward calls to: and type the phone number that you want all calls forwarded to.
8. Select Done.

Forwarding to voicemail

To forward calls to voicemail, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Select Phone.
4. Scroll to and select Call Forwarding.
5. Select No Reply, Busy, or Unavailable.
6. Click to select Enable call forwarding…. A checkmark appears.
7. Scroll to Forward calls to: and type 18056377243.
8. Scroll to Forward after: and select from the following options:
  • 5 seconds
  • 10 seconds
  • 15 seconds
  • 20 seconds
  • 25 seconds
  • 30 seconds
9. Select Done.

Activating call waiting

To activate call waiting, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Select Phone.
4. Scroll to and select Call Waiting.
5. Press the Center Select key to select Provide call waiting notifications. A checkmark appears.
6. Select Done.

Deactivating call waiting

To deactivate call waiting, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Select Phone.
4. Scroll to and select Call Waiting.
5. Press the Center Select key to clear the option Provide call waiting notifications.
6. Select Done.

Answering call waiting

NOTE: When you are on a call and another call comes in, an alert screen appears.
To answer call waiting, perform the following steps:
1. Select Answer. This automatically places your first call on hold.
2. To return to the first caller, select Swap.

To use caller ID, select from the following links:

Restricting caller ID

To restrict caller ID, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Select Phone.
4. Scroll to and select Caller ID.
5. In the Provide my caller ID to: menu box, scroll to No One or Only my contacts.
6. Select Done.

Enabling caller ID

To enable caller ID, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Start.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Select Phone.
4. Scroll to and select Caller ID.
5. In the Provide my caller ID to: menu box, scroll to Everyone.
6. Select Done.

Setting caller ID

If the calling party's number is stored in the phone book, the name will appear on the display. Otherwise, the caller's number will be displayed.
NOTE: If caller ID information is not available or the caller has blocked their outgoing ID, the phone will display Incoming Call, Withheld, or Unknown Call.

Assigning a Caller ID Picture and ringer

NOTE: You can assign Caller ID Pictures and ringers to contacts stored in the phone book on the phone. You cannot assign Caller ID Pictures and ringers to contacts stored on the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card.
To assign a Caller ID Picture and ringer to a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, select Contacts.
2. Scroll to and select the desired contact.
3. Select Menu, and then select Edit.
4. Scroll to and select the menu under Picture.
5. Scroll to and select a picture within your photo album or scroll to and select Camera and take a photo.
6. Select Done.

Turning on and off the speakerphone

To turn on the speakerphone, while a call is in progress, select Menu, and then select Speakerphone On.
To turn off the speakerphone, while a call is in progress, select Menu, and then select Speakerphone Off.
