Taking pictures
To take pictures, perform the following steps:
| 1. | Press the Camera key on the right side of the phone. |
| 3. | Select Capture or press the Camera key. |
Accessing pictures
To access pictures, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select  key to select Menu. |
| 5. | Scroll to and select the desired image. |
Deleting pictures
To delete pictures, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select key to select Menu. |
| 5. | Scroll to the image and select Options. |
| 6. | Scroll to and select Delete. |
| 7. | Select Yes to confirm. |
TIPS
- Press the Camera key on the right side of the phone to access the camera.
- Press the Up Navigation or the Up Volume key to zoom in.
- Press the Down Navigation or the Down Volume key to zoom out.
- Press the Left Navigation or Right Navigation keys to switch between full-screen and wide-screen views.
- While in Camera mode, select Options to change photo and video options.

Recording videos
NOTE: Videos are stored at Menu > Fun & Apps > Gallery > Video clips by default.
To record videos, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select key to select Menu. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Media. |
| 4. | Scroll to and select Video. |
| 5. | Select Record to begin recording. |
| 6. | Select Stop to end recording, or let the recording stop automatically. |
Accessing videos
To access videos, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select key to select Menu. |
| 4. | Scroll to and select Video clips. |
| 5. | Scroll to and select a video. The video plays automatically. |
Deleting videos
To delete videos, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select key to select Menu. |
| 4. | Scroll to and select Video clips. |
| 5. | Scroll to the video and select Options. Select Delete. |
TIPS
- At the main screen, press the Camera key, which is located on the phone's right side.
- While in video mode, select Options to change video options.
- Press the Left Navigation and Right Navigation keys to switch from Camcorder to Camera mode.
- Press the Up Navigation and Down Navigation keys or the Up Volume and Down Volume keys to zoom in and out.
You must send a picture message to set up your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card on the network for picture messaging. You will not be able to receive a picture message until you have sent one.
When sending a picture message to another phone, that phone must be able to receive the picture message. If the phone cannot receive the picture message, then it will display a text message directing the user to log in to the My Album site to view the picture.

Taking and sending a picture message
NOTE: Pictures are stored at Menu > Fun & Apps > Gallery > Images.
To take and send a picture message, perform the following steps:
| 2. | Frame the subject and select Capture. |
| 3. | Select Options, select Send, and then select Picture message. |
| 4. | Select Options and then Send. |
| 5. | At Subject, scroll to and type a subject. |
| 6. | At To, type the recipient’s phone number (and skip to Step 7), or select Add and choose from: |
- Recently used: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Open log: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Contact: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Contact group: Scroll and select the group. Select Options and then Send.
- My Album: Select Options and then Send.
NOTE: When sending to an e-mail address, press the Pound (#) key to change from numeric to alpha mode.

Taking and sending a picture message using Bluetooth
To take and send a picture message using Bluetooth, perform the following steps:
| 2. | Frame the subject and select Capture. |
| 3. | Select Options, select Send, and then select Via Bluetooth. |
| 5. | The phone searches for devices. When it is finished, scroll to and select the correct device. |
Taking and sending a picture message to My Album
To take and send a picture message to My Album, perform the following steps:
| 2. | Frame the subject and select Capture. |
| 3. | Select Options, select Send, and then select Picture message. |
| 4. | To add a message, select Options, select Insert, and then select Text. |
| 7. | Select Options and then Send. |
| 8. | Select Add and then My Album. |
| 9. | Select Options and then Send. |
NOTE: First time users of My Album will receive a text message. To view pictures, go to
My Album. Click

Sending a saved picture
To send a saved picture, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select key to select Menu. |
| 5. | Scroll to the photo that you want to send. |
| 6. | Select Options, select Send, and then select Picture message. |
| 7. | To add a message, select Options, select Insert, and then select Text. |
| 8. | Type your message and select Next. |
| 9. | Select Options and then Send. |
| 10. | At Subject, scroll to and type a subject. |
| 11. | At To, scroll to and type the recipient’s phone number (and skip to Step 12), or select Add and choose from: |
- Recently used: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Open log: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Contact: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Contact group: Scroll and select the group. Select Options and then Send.
- My Album: Select Options and then Send.

To take and send video messages, perform the following steps:
| 2. | Select Options and then Video or press either the Left Navigation or Right Navigation keys to initiate the camcorder. |
| 3. | Frame the subject and then select Record to begin recording. |
| 4. | Select Stop to stop recording. |
| 5. | Select Options, select Send, and then select Picture message. |
| 6. | Select Options and then Send. |
| 7. | At Subject, scroll to and type a subject. |
| 8. | At To, scroll to and type the recipient’s phone number (and skip to Step 9), or select Add and choose from: |
- Recently used: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Open log: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Contact: Scroll to and select a contact. Select Options and then Send.
- Contact group: Scroll and select the group. Select Options and then Send.
- My Album: Select Options and then Send.

Reading a picture message
NOTE: When you receive a new picture message or video message, you will see the new Multimedia Message icon on both your external and internal displays. To view the message, open the flip and select Show.
To read a picture message from the menu, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select key to select Menu. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Inbox. |
| 4. | Scroll to and select the message. |
Deleting a picture message
To delete a picture message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select key to select Menu. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Inbox. |
| 4. | Scroll to and select the message you want to delete. |
| 5. | Select Options, select Delete, and then select Yes to confirm. |
