
Call Functions (Nokia 6133)
Dialing a number
To dial a number, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, type the phone number. |
| 2. | Press the green Send
key to initiate the call. |
NOTE: To add a plus (+) sign (for international country codes), press the Star (*) key twice.
Calling a contact in the phone book
To call a contact in the phone book, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Down Navigation key to open the contact list. |
| 2. | Scroll to the desired contact. |
| 3. | Press the green Send
key to initiate the call. |
Calling voicemail
To call voicemail, at the main screen, press and hold the 1 key.
OR
To call voicemail, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Messaging. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Voice mail. |
| 4. | Select Listen to voice mails. |
Answering calls
To answer a call, open the flip.
OR
To answer a call when the flip is open, press the green
Send

key.
OR
To answer a call when the flip is open, press the
Center Select

key to select
Answer.
Ending calls
To end a call, close the flip.
OR
To end a call, press the red
End

key.
Putting a call on hold
To put an active call on hold, select Options, and then select Hold.
To return to a call that is on hold, select Resume.
Muting a call
To mute an active call, select Options, and then select Mute.
To unmute an active call, select Unmute.

Initiating a conference call
To initiate a conference call, perform the following steps:
| 1. | Make or answer a call. |
| 2. | Select Options and then select New call. |
| 5. | Select Options and then select Conference. |
NOTE: To add more callers, repeat Step 2 through Step 5.
Having a private conversation
To have a private conversation during a conference call, select Options and then Private call. Select the desired number.
To switch parties, select Options and then select Swap. To return to the conference call, select Options and then select Conference.

Forwarding calls
To forward calls, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Settings. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Call. |
| 4. | Select Call forwarding. |
| 5. | Select If not available. |
| 7. | At To other number, type the number and select OK. |
| 8. | Scroll to and select the desired Delay time of 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 20 seconds, 25 seconds, or 30 seconds. |
Forwarding all calls (unconditional forwarding)
To forward all calls, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select

| 2. | Scroll to and select Settings. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Call. |
| 4. | Select Call forwarding. |
| 5. | Select All voice calls. |
| 7. | At To other number, type the number and select OK. |
Forwarding calls to voicemail
To forward calls to voicemail, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select

| 2. | Scroll to and select Settings. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Call. |
| 4. | Select Call forwarding. |
| 5. | Select All voice calls. |
| 7. | Select To voice mailbox. |

Viewing the call timer
To view the call timer, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Log. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Call timers. |
| 4. | Scroll to and view Last call, Received calls, Dialed calls, or All calls. |
Resetting the call timer
To reset the call timer, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Log. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Call timers. |
| 4. | Scroll to select Clear timers. |
| 5. | Type the security code and then select OK. |
NOTE: The default security code is 12345.

Activating or deactivating call waiting
To activate or deactivate call waiting, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Settings. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Call. |
| 4. | Scroll to and select Call waiting. |
| 5. | Select Activate, Cancel, or Check status. |
Answering calls
NOTE: When you are on an active call, an alert sound will notify you of an incoming call.
To answer an incoming call while on an active call, select Answer.
NOTE: The original call is automatically placed on hold, and the incoming call is now the active call. To switch between calls, select Options, and then select Swap. To link both parties, select Options, and then select Conference.

Creating a caller group
To create a caller group, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Phonebook. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Groups. |
| 6. | Type a name for the group. |
| 7. | Scroll to and select Save. |
Adding contacts to a caller group
NOTE: In order to add contacts to a caller group, the contact must be stored to the phone, not to the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card.
To add contacts to a caller group, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Phonebook. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Groups. |
| 4. | Scroll to the desired group and select View. |
| 6. | Scroll to and select the contact. |
Setting a specific ringtone to a caller group
To set a specific ringtone to a caller group, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Phonebook. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Groups. |
| 4. | Scroll to the desired group and select Options. Select Group details. |
| 5. | Scroll to Group tone and select Change. |
| 6. | Scroll to and select Open Gallery or Tone downloads. |
| 7. | Scroll to and select the desired tone. |
| 8. | Select Options and then select Save. |
Setting an image to a caller group
To set an image to a caller group, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, press the Center Select
key to select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Phonebook. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Groups. |
| 4. | Scroll to the desired group and select Options. Select Group details. |
| 5. | Scroll to Group image and select Add. |
| 6. | Scroll to and select an image category: |
