Taking pictures

To take pictures, perform the following steps:
1. Press the Camera key on the right side of the phone.
2. Frame the subject, and then press the OK key.
3. Press the red End key to exit, select Options for further choices, or select Yes to save the picture to My Album.

Accessing pictures

To access pictures, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Fun & Apps.
3. Scroll to and select Camera.
4. Scroll to and select My photos.
5. Scroll to and select the image.

Deleting pictures

To delete pictures, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Fun & Apps.
3. Scroll to and select Camera.
4. Scroll to and select My photos.
5. Scroll to the image, and then select Options.
6. Scroll to and select Delete.
7. Select Selected to delete a single picture, or select Multiple to delete multiple pictures.
NOTE: If you select Selected, go to Step 8. If you select Multiple, go to Step 9.
8. Select Yes to confirm. Continue to Step 10.
9. Select All, or scroll to and select the pictures you want to delete. Press the OK key to place or remove checks in the checkboxes.
10. Select Options.
NOTE: If you wish to delete all pictures, even those that have been protected, associated with wallpaper, or shared, press the OK key to select the corresponding checkboxes. If you wish to keep certain pictures, remove the checks in the appropriate checkboxes.
11. Select Delete.

Recording videos

To record videos, perform the following steps:
NOTE: Videos are stored at Menu > Fun & Apps > Camera > My Videos by default.
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Fun & Apps.
3. Scroll to and select Camera.
4. Scroll to and select Record Video.
5. Press the OK key to start recording.
6. Press the OK key again to stop recording, or let the recording stop automatically.

Accessing videos

To access videos, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Fun & Apps.
3. Scroll to and select Camera.
4. Scroll to and select My Videos.
5. Scroll to and select a video by pressing the OK key.

Deleting videos

To delete videos, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Fun & Apps.
3. Scroll to and select Camera.
4. Scroll to and select My Videos.
5. Scroll to the video, and then select Options.
6. Scroll to and select Delete.
7. Select Selected to delete a single video, or select Multiple to delete multiple videos.
NOTE: If you select Selected, go to Step 8. If you select Multiple, go to Step 9.
8. Select Yes to confirm. Continue to Step 10.
9. Select All, or scroll to and select the videos you want to delete. Press the OK key to place or remove checks in the checkboxes.
10. Select Options.
NOTE: If you wish to delete all videos, even those that have been protected or shared, select With protected items and With shared items. If you wish to keep protected videos or shared items, press the OK key to remove the checks in the checkboxes.
11. Select Delete.

TIPS

  • At the main screen, press the Camera key, or press the Up Navigation key to access the camera or camcorder function directly. The function you used previously remains the default setting until the phone is powered off.
  • To switch between the camera and video recorder when in camera mode, press the 1 key.
  • While in video mode, press the Left Soft key for various recording and setting options. Select Camcorder short cuts to view a diagram of the various keys that serve as short cuts to different settings.
  • Press the Left and Right Navigation keys to zoom in and out.
  • Press the Up and Down Navigation keys to adjust the image brightness.
  • Press the Up Volume ▲ key to flip the image vertically.
  • Press the Down Volume ▼ key to show the mirror image.

MMS/Picture and video messaging

You must originate a picture message to set up your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card on the network for picture messaging. You will not be able to receive a picture message until have sent one.
When sending a picture message to another phone, the recipient's phone must be able to receive the picture message. If the recipient's phone cannot receive the picture message, it will display a text message directing the recipient to log in to the My Album site to view the picture.

Taking and sending picture messages

To take and send picture messages, perform the following steps:
NOTE: Pictures are stored at Menu > Fun & Apps > Camera > My photos.
1. Press the Camera key on the side of the phone.
2. Frame the subject, and then press the OK key.
3. Select Options, and then select Send to.
4. Perform one of the following actions:
  • Select Recent recipients, and then select a contact.
  • Select Phonebook, and then select a contact.
  • Select New recipient, and then type the mobile number or e-mail address.
  • Select My Album, and then continue to Step 5.
NOTE: First time users of My Album will receive a text message.
NOTE: To view pictures on the My Album Web site, go to the My Album Web site. On the home page, click Register here, and then follow the instructions to register for My Album.
5. Select Send.

Sending saved pictures

To send saved pictures, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Fun & Apps.
3. Scroll to and select Camera.
4. Scroll to and select My photos.
5. Scroll to the picture that you want to send.
6. Select Options, select Send via, and then select Picture Message.
7. Scroll to and select Text.
8. Type the message. You can also add a subject, if you wish.
9. Select Options, and then select Save.
10. Select Send.
11. Perform one of the following actions:
  • Select Recent recipients, and then select a contact.
  • Select Phonebook, and then select a contact.
  • Select New recipient, and then type the mobile number or e-mail address.
  • Select My Album, and then continue to Step 12.
NOTE: First time users of My Album will receive a text message.
NOTE: To view pictures on the My Album Web site, go to the My Album Web site. On the home page, click Register here, and then follow the instructions to register for My Album.
12. Select Send.

Taking and sending video messages

To take and send video messages, perform the following steps:
NOTE: Videos are stored at Menu > Fun & Apps > Camera > My Videos.
1. Press the Camera key on the right side of the phone.
2. Press the Left Soft key, and then select Record video.
3. Frame the subject, and then press the OK key to begin recording.
4. Press the OK key again to stop recording.
5. Press the OK key to play.
6. Press the Left Soft key to select Edit message.
7. Type the message. You can also add a subject, if you wish.
NOTE: You can also add extra pages and attach other information such as your name card, schedule, anniversary, miscellaneous, and tasks.
8. When finished, select Send.
9. Perform one of the following actions:
  • Select Recent recipients, and then select a contact.
  • Select Phonebook, and then select a contact.
  • Select New recipient, and then type the mobile number or e-mail address.
  • Select My Album, and then continue to Step 10.
NOTE: First time users of My Album will receive a text message.
NOTE: To view pictures on the My Album Web site, go to the My Album Web site. On the home page, click Register here, and then follow the instructions to register for My Album.
10. Select Send.

To send saved videos, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Fun & Apps.
3. Scroll to and select Camera.
4. Scroll to and select My Videos.
5. Scroll to the video, select Options, select Send via, and then select Picture Message.
6. Type a subject and a message, if you wish.
NOTE: You can also add extra pages and attach other information, such as your name card, schedule, anniversary, miscellaneous, and tasks.
7. When finished, select Send.
8. Select one of the following:
  • Select Recent recipients, and then select a contact.
  • Select Phonebook, and then select a contact.
  • Select New recipient, and then type the mobile number or e-mail address.
  • Select My Album, and then continue to Step 9.

9. Select Send.

Reading picture messages

NOTE: When you receive a new MMS message, you will see an icon on your external and internal displays. To view the message, open the flip, and then select View.
To read picture messages, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, press Menu.
2. Select Messages.
3. Scroll to and select Inbox.
4. Scroll to and select the message.

Deleting picture messages

To delete picture messages, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Select Messages.
3. Scroll to and select Inbox.
4. Scroll to the message to delete.
5. Select Options, select Delete, and then select Selected.
6. Select Yes.
