Taking and sending pictures
NOTE: By default, pictures are saved to Menu > Gallery > Images.
To set up your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card on the network for picture messaging, you must first send a picture message. You will not be able to receive a picture message until you have sent one.
NOTE: When sending a picture message to another phone, the recipient must have a picture messages-capable phone to receive the picture message properly. If the recipient does not have a phone that can receive picture messages, the recipient will receive a text message with instructions to log in to your My Album site to view the picture. The recipient will be able to view the picture message by using a standard Web browser on a personal computer.
To take and send pictures, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Media. |
| 4. | Frame your picture, and then select Capture. |
| 6. | Below the image name, enter your message. |
| 8. | Choose one of the following: |
- Recently used – Scroll to and select a phone number or e-mail address from the list, and then select OK.
- To phone number – Enter a phone number, and then select OK.
NOTE: To select a contact from your phone book, select To phone number, and then select Find. Scroll to and select the contact, and then select OK. Select OK again.
- To e-mail address – Enter an e-mail address, and then select OK.
- To many – Enter multiple e-mail addresses, names, or phone numbers, and then select Send.
Accessing saved pictures
To access saved pictures, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Gallery. |
| 4. | Scroll to and select the image that you want to view. |
Deleting pictures
To delete pictures, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Gallery. |
| 5. | Select Options, and then select Delete. |
TIPS
- To zoom in before taking a picture, select Options, and then select Zoom. To zoom up to 2x, use the Right Navigation key.
- To take pictures in a dark environment using night mode, select Options, and then select Night mode on.
- To adjust the picture quality, video clip length, default title, and camera sounds, select Camera, select Options, and then select Settings.
