How do I restore a missing BlackBerry® Internet browser icon on my device?
NOTE: The BlackBerry Internet browser is different from the t-zones® browser. The t-zones browser supports Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) browsing, while the BlackBerry Internet browser supports limited HTML browsing.
NOTE: Before using the instructions below, verify that the BlackBerry Internet Browser icon is not hidden. Press the Menu key or the trackwheel, and then select Show All.

Restoring a BlackBerry Internet E-mail (BIE) icon from the device
To restore a BIE icon from the device, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the Home screen, select the Options icon. |
| 2. | Select Advanced Options. |
| 3. | Select Host Routing Table. |
| 4. | Press the Menu key or the trackwheel. |
| 5. | Select Register Now. |
| 6. | Press the Escape key to return to the Home screen. |
| 7. | Verify that the BlackBerry Internet browser icon appears on the Home screen. |
NOTE: If the BlackBerry Internet browser icon does not appear after following the steps above, go to Contact Us.
Restoring a BIE icon from the administration Web site
To restore a BIE icon from the administration Web site, perform the following steps:
| 1. | Access the BlackBerry Provisioning Tool. |
| 2. | Look up the device by either PIN or IMEI. |
| 3. | Click Send Service Books. |
Restoring a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server (BES) icon from the device
To restore a BES icon from the device, perform the following steps:
| 1. | Connect the device to your corporate computer. |
| 2. | Wait for the device to synchronize via BlackBerry® Desktop Manager or IntelliSync. |
| 3. | Verify that the BlackBerry Internet browser icon appears on the Home screen. |
Restoring a BES icon via administration assistance
To restore a BES icon via administration assistance, perform the following steps:
| 1. | Contact your corporate IT staff or BES administrator to have the service books sent to the device. |
| 2. | Confirm with the BES administrator that there is not an IT policy blocking browsing capabilities. |
NOTE: If the issue is still not resolved, the IT staff or administrator should contact RIM technical support for additional assistance.
