Sending messages to myFaves® contacts (Samsung Gravity 2)
Sending an audio postcard
To send an audio postcard, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, scroll to and select the desired myFaves contact. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Send Audio postcard. |
| 3. | Press the Center Select key. |
NOTE: If desired, select Menu and then Choose frame to scroll to a different frame theme, then press the Center Select key and then select Select.
| 5. | Press the Camera key to take the picture. |
| 6. | Press the Center Select key to select Add voice. |
NOTE: Recording begins automatically.
| 7. | When finished recording, select Stop. |
Sending an e-mail message
To send an e-mail message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, scroll to and select the desired myFaves contact. |
| 2. | Press the Navigation key right to scroll to Send e-mail. |
| 3. | Press the Center Select key. |
| 4. | If necessary, select the e-mail account from which you wish to send your message. |
| 5. | If necessary, select Yes or No when asked if you would like this account to be the default e-mail account. |
| 6. | In the To field, enter the e-mail address of the contact. |
| 7. | Scroll down to Subject to enter the subject of your message. |
| 8. | Scroll down and enter the text of the message. |
Sending an instant message
To send an instant message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, scroll to and select the desired myFaves contact. |
| 2. | Press the Navigation key right or left to scroll to Send IM. |
| 3. | Press the Center Select key. |
NOTE: If you or the contact do not already have an IM ID in the contact profile, you need to add it at this time.
Sending a picture or video message
To send a picture or video message, refer to the following links:
Picture Message
To send a picture message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, scroll to and select the desired myFaves contact. |
| 2. | Press the Navigation key left to scroll to Send message. |
| 3. | Press the Center Select key. |
| 4. | Scroll to the bottom of the screen. |
| 5. | Scroll right and select Picture. |
| 6. | Select one of the following: |

Take picture
- Frame the subject.
- Press the Camera key to take the picture.

Photos or Downloaded images
- Scroll to and select the file you wish to send.
Video Message
To send a video message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, scroll to and select the desired myFaves contact. |
| 2. | Press the Navigation key left to scroll to Send message. |
| 3. | Press the Center Select key. |
| 4. | Scroll to the bottom of the screen. |
| 5. | Scroll right and select Video. |
| 6. | Select one of the following: |

Record video
- Frame the subject.
- Press the Camera key to record the video.
- Select OK.

Videos or Downloaded videos
- Scroll to and select the file you wish to send.
Sending a text message
To send a text message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | Scroll to and select the contact. |
| 2. | Press the Navigation key left to scroll to and select Send message. |
| 3. | Enter the text of your message. |
Sending Voice Notes
NOTE: Voice Notes are audio clips within multimedia messages (MMS), which allows you to leave a message without calling or leaving voicemail.
To send Voice Notes, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, scroll to and select the desired myFaves contact. |
| 2. | Press the Navigation key left to scroll to and select Send message. |
| 3. | Press the Center Select key. |
| 4. | Scroll to the bottom of the screen. |
| 5. | Scroll right and select Record sound. |
NOTE: Recording starts immediately.
| 7. | Press Stop to stop recording. |
| 9. | If desired, enter a text message. |
