Sending messages to myFaves® contacts (Samsung Memoir)
Sending an audio postcard
To send a postcard, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, tap the myFaves circles. |
| 2. | Tap the contact’s circle. |
| 4. | Tap the arrow icons to scroll through the postcard frames. |
| 5. | Frame the subject and press the Camera key to capture. |
| 6. | Tap Record voice to begin recording. |
| 7. | When finished, tap the Stop button. |
Sending an e-mail
To send an e-mail, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, tap Menu. |
| 4. | Tap the account you want to log in to. |
| 8. | At To, tap the text field to open the keypad to enter the e-mail address, or select Options, and then Insert to select an address saved in your address book. |
| 9. | Tap the Body text field to open the keypad. |
| 10. | Enter your message and tap Done. |
| 11. | Tap the Sub text field to open the keypad. |
| 12. | Enter your subject and tap Done. |
Sending an instant message (IM)
To send an instant message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, tap the myFaves circles. |
| 2. | Tap the contact’s circle. |
| 5. | Enter log in information, if necessary, and then tap Sign In, Sign On, or Connect. |
| 6. | At the contact list, tap your contact’s screen name. |
| 7. | Tap the text field to open the keypad. |
Sending a picture or video message
To send a picture or video message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, tap the myFaves circles. |
| 2. | Tap the contact’s circle. |
| 5. | Tap one of the following: |

Take photo: Frame your subject and press the Camera key to capture. Tap Add.

Add from Photos: Navigate to and tap the desired picture. Tap Add.
| 6. | Tap the message text field to open the keypad. |
| 7. | Enter your message and tap Done. |
Sending a text message
To send a text message, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, tap the myFaves circles. |
| 2. | Tap the contact’s circle. |
| 4. | Tap the message text field to open the keypad. |
| 5. | Enter your message and tap Done. |
Sending a voice recording
To send a voice recording, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, tap the myFaves circles. |
| 2. | Tap the contact’s circle. |
| 5. | Tap one of the following: |

Record sound: The recording begins immediately. Speak your message. When finished, tap the Stop button. Tap Add.

Add from sounds: Navigate to and tap the desired sound file. Tap Add.
| 6. | Tap the message text field to open the keypad. |
| 7. | Enter your message and tap Done. |
Sending a wave
The Wave Hello feature allows myFaves customers to send special MMS messages to their myFaves contacts. When a Wave is sent to a T-Mobile customer, the receiving phone displays an animated image of a hand waving and a short line of text on the main screen. When a Wave is sent to a non-T-Mobile customer, the receiving phone receives an MMS message with the title You got a wave. When the message is opened, there is an animated image of a hand waving.
To send a wave, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, tap the myFaves circles. |
| 2. | Tap the contact’s circle. |
Editing a wave
To edit a wave, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, tap the myFaves circles. |
| 2. | Tap the contact’s circle. |
| 4. | Tap Create custom wave, Change to a kiss, Change to a hug, or Change to wave. |
| 5. | If you taped Create custom wave, enter your message and tap Done. |
| 6. | Tap Send a [selected wave type]. |
