Setting up wireless security for a T-Mobile HiPort wireless router

To configure your T-Mobile @Home wireless router, perform the following steps:

1.	Enter http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.24.1 in a Web browser on your computer and press Enter.

2.	In the dialog box, enter admin for both the User Name and Password.

NOTE: If you changed your password, use the password that you created.

3.	From the router’s configuration tool, confirm that you are logged into the router with two phone ports.

4.	Select the Wireless tab, then the Wireless Security sub tab.

5.	In the Security Mode drop-down menu, select WPA Personal.

6.	Enter the desired passkey in the empty WPA Shared Key box.

7.	Select Save Settings to activate the security.

8.	Enter the security passphrase into all other Wi-Fi devices using the HiPort router.
