What is a Prepaid card?
Prepaid cards offer customers either one or seven continuous days of unlimited Wi-Fi access at all T-Mobile HotSpot locations nationwide. The cards have no value until purchased. For security reasons Prepaid cards require a PIN number to activate.
Where can I purchase 1-Day and 7-Day Prepaid cards?
Currently, T-Mobile HotSpot 1-Day and 7-Day Prepaid cards may be purchased in select Red Roof Inn locations.
When will my Prepaid card time begin to be used?
Your Prepaid card time will begin to be used as soon as you log in to a T-Mobile HotSpot location for the first time. You may create your account in advance of visiting a location in the T-Mobile HotSpot Network and your days will not expire until you actually visit a location and login to the service. You have one full year from the purchase date to use your Prepaid card at a T-Mobile HotSpot location.
How do I set up my Prepaid card account?
To set up your account with a Prepaid card, go to Prepaid card services. You can activate your account from any accessible Internet connection including T-Mobile HotSpot locations.
Where can I find my PIN number?
PIN numbers can be found printed on the back of the Prepaid card. The PIN number is automatically activated at time of purchase.
Once my Prepaid card time expires, how can I continue using T-Mobile HotSpot service?
You have several convenient options to continue using T-Mobile HotSpot service:
- Within Account Managment, go to Refill Account.
- Purchase a DayPass online. Select Refill. A credit card is required.
- Upgrade your account to an affordable Annual or Month-to-Month subscription plan. Within the Prepaid card services page, from the left menu, select Change Your Plan. A credit card is required.
How can I tell how much time I have remaining on my Prepaid card?
To view your expiration date and remaining time, log in to Account Management with your User Name and Password, and then select Account Overview.
Can I access T-Mobile HotSpot roaming locations with a Prepaid card account?
As long as you have an account prior to visiting, you can use your DayPass at any of the over 10,000 T-Mobile HotSpot Network locations. However, you cannot use your DayPass at any domestic or international roaming location.
What is the difference between a 1-Day Prepaid card and a DayPass?
A DayPass is purchased online and requires a credit card. A 1-Day Prepaid card may be purchased at select retail locations and paid for using any payment method that is accepted at that location. Prepaid cards have a PIN number that is required for activation.
If I have multiple Prepaid cards in my account, will my time be added together?
No. We keep Prepaid cards listed separately in your account, so you have the freedom to wait between using your Prepaid cards. If you have multiple Prepaid cards in your account and your original one has expired, the next card in your account will be used with your next log in. If you are logged into the T-Mobile HotSpot network and the time on your current card expires, your session will end.
