T-Mobile Address Book (TAB) (Nokia 3555)

Activating the address book

IMPORTANT: The Nokia 3555b does not have the full T-Mobile Address Book client, but it can support synchronization of contacts between the phone and the Web. Because the phone does not have the full client, it will not immediately synchronize when there is a change to the phone book. Customers have the following options:
  • Manually synchronize contacts between the phone and the Web site.
  • Setting the phone to synchronize hourly, daily, or weekly.
NOTE: Only contacts in your phone memory will synchronize with the Web site. You will need to manually copy contacts from your SIM card to your phone memory before synchronizing.
NOTE: If you take out your SIM card and replace it with a new one, the address book will ask if this will be your permanent phone. This allows you to choose if you would like to replace your address book entries with the contacts on the new SIM card.
