T-Mobile Address Book (TAB) (Samsung t639)
T-Mobile Address Book is a FREE service that lets you store contact information on your phone and on the My T-Mobile Web site. You can manage contacts on your phone as well as on our Web site, and changes are synchronized between the phone and the site. With TAB, you do not have to worry about losing contact information if you lose your phone.
IMPORTANT: This phone does not support full T-Mobile Address Book functionality. Your phone will not synchronize automatically with the Web site. Each time you make a change to your phone or online contacts, you will need to synchronize your contacts manually by selecting the Synchronization option on your phone. The SYNC NOW option is not available on the Web site with this phone.

Activating the address book
NOTE: You will need to manually activate your address book before you can add or manage your contacts on the Web site.
To activate your address book, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Settings. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Synchronization. |
| 4. | Select Sync now. |
| 5. | Select Continue. |
NOTE: Only contacts in your phone memory will synchronize with the Web site. You will need to manually copy contacts from your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card to your phone memory before synchronizing.

Copying contacts manually
To manually copy contacts, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Settings. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Synchronization. |
| 4. | Select Sync now. |
| 5. | Select Continue. |
Viewing synchronization settings
To view synchronization settings, perform the following steps:
| 1. | At the main screen, select Menu. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Settings. |
| 3. | Scroll to and select Synchronization. |
| 4. | Select one of the following: |
- Sync now, to synchronize your phone and online T-Mobile Address Book immediately.
- View log, to view details of your last synchronization session.
- Sync settings, to choose what data to synchronize. You can currently synchronize Phonebook, and in the future you will also be able to synchronize Schedule, Task and Note. Scroll to the data group to synchronize and press the OK key to place a check in the check box, and then select Save.
