How do I determine what software version I have? (T-Mobile Dash™)
T-Mobile provides a software upgrade for the T-Mobile Dash to update the device software from Windows Mobile 5 to Windows Mobile 6. The update includes many new features and updates that will improve the overall experience with the device. Before downloading or installing the upgrade, first determine if your device is running Windows Mobile 5.
To determine the current software version of your T-Mobile Dash, perform the following steps:
| 1. | From the Home screen, select Start. |
| 2. | Scroll to and select Settings. |
| 3. | Scroll to and highlight More, and then select Done. Scroll to and highlight More, and select Done, two more times. |
| 4. | Select System Information. |
NOTE: Under System Information, the ROM version is displayed. The software version for Windows Mobile 5 is 1.11.531.1. The software version for Windows Mobile 6 is 1.22.531.4.
