How to Backup Files to a Personal Computer (T-Mobile MDAŽ)
To backup files to a personal computer, perform the following steps:
NOTE: The information below provides instructions on how to backup files from the T-Mobile MDA to a PC for customers using ActiveSync versions 3.7, 3.8, and 4.1.
| 1. | Plug the USB cable into the T-Mobile MDA. |
| 2. | From the Microsoft ActiveSync window, click the Sync icon on the device to initiate an ActiveSync session. |
| 3. | Once ActiveSync has completed, scroll to and select Tools. |
| 4. | In the Tools menu, scroll to and select Explore Device. |
| 5. | All the folders stored on the device will appear in the Mobile Device folder. |
| 6. | Select the desired content that you would like to store on the computer, and then transfer the content from each of the folders. You can cut and paste, drag and drop, or use other transfer methods. You may transfer individual files or entire folders. |
| 7. | Once all the content has been transferred, you can unplug the device. |
