Connecting

To connect, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Instant Messaging.
3. Select ICQ.
4. At ICQ#, type your ICQ number.
5. At Password, type your password.
NOTE: Passwords are case sensitive.
6. Scroll to Save password, and press the OK key.
7. Select Options.
8. Select Connect.

Disconnecting

To disconnect, perform the following steps:
1. At the contact list, select Options.
2. Scroll to and select Disconnect.
3. Select OK.

Adding a contact

To add a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the contact list, select Options.
2. Scroll to and select Add user.
3. Type the user's ICQ number.
NOTE: To place the phone in numeric entry mode, press the Star (*) key three times.
4. Select OK.

Deleting a contact

To delete a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the contact list, scroll to the contact you wish to delete.
2. Select Options.
3. Scroll to and select Delete user.
4. Select OK.

Sending a message to a contact

To send a message to a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the contact list, scroll to the user.
2. Select Options.
3. Select Send message.
4. Type your message.
5. Select Options.
6. Select Send.

Sending a message to an unlisted contact

To send a message to an unlisted contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the contact list, select Options.
2. Scroll to and select Send message to.
3. Type the user's ICQ number.
NOTE: To place the phone in numeric entry mode, press the * key three times.
4. Select OK.
5. Type your message.
6. Select Options.
7. Select Send.

Blocking a contact

To block a contact, perform the following steps:
1. At the contact list, scroll to the user.
2. Select Options.
3. Scroll to and select Block.
4. Select OK.

Setting Away status

To set Away status, perform the following steps:
1. At the contact list, scroll to your ICQ number.
2. Select Options.
3. Select My Availability.
4. Scroll to and select Away.
