Why am I unable to send e-mail messages from My BlackBerry®?
If you are unable to send e-mail with your BlackBerry, the issue may be related to one of the following:

Problem with the Web Client [CMIME] Service Book

If you are having problems with the Web Client [CMIME] Service Book, you may need to delete and reinstall the Web Client [CMIME] Service Book.
To delete and reinstall the Web Client [CMIME] Service Book, perform the following steps:
1. From the handheld Home screen, select Options.
NOTE: BlackBerry 7100t® and BlackBerry 7105t® users select Tools, and then Settings.
2. Scroll to and select Service Book.
3. Scroll to Web Client [CMIME] and click the trackwheel.
4. From the menu, use the trackwheel to select Delete. Select Delete again to confirm.
5. Click the trackwheel and select Close.
6. Go to My T-Mobile and log in. For more information, go to How Do I Log In to My T-Mobile?
7. Access your BlackBerry Internet E-mail account. From Communication Tools & Downloads, select BLACKBERRY INTERNET E-MAIL.
8. From the Settings menu, click Handheld.
9. To resend the Web Client Service Book, click Send Service Books.
10. Once the activation message is received on the handheld, the Web Client Service Book will be installed. To verify that the Web Client Service Book is active, perform the following steps:
  1. From the Home screen, select Options.
    NOTE:
    BlackBerry 7100t and BlackBerry 7105t users select Tools, and then Settings.
  2. Scroll to and select Service Book.
  3. Highlight Web Client [CMIME] and click the trackwheel.
  4. Select View. The Record Type should display Active.
  5. Press the Escape button (located below the trackwheel) to return to the Home screen.
11. Attempt to send a new e-mail message from your BlackBerry handheld.

Message Services is not configured to use BlackBerry Web Client

If message services are not configure to use BlackBerry Web Client, you will need to set Web Client as the default service for sending e-mail messages
To set Web Client as the default service for sending e-mail messages, perform the following steps:
1. From the handheld Home screen, select Options.
NOTE: BlackBerry 7100t and BlackBerry 7105t users select Tools, and then Settings.
2. Scroll to and select Message Services.
3. Scroll to and highlight Messaging [CMIME].
4. Press the trackwheel to select Change Option.
5. Press the trackwheel to select Web Client.
6. Press the trackwheel to select Save.
7. To return to the Home screen, press the Escape button (located below the trackwheel).
8. Send a new e-mail message from your device. Scroll to Web Client [CMIME] and click the trackwheel.

The Web Client [CMIME] Service Book has not been accepted

If the Web Client [CMIME] Service Book has not been accepted, you will need to accept it.
To accept the Web Client [CMIME] Service Book, perform the following steps:
1. From the handheld Home screen, select Options.
NOTE: BlackBerry 7100t and BlackBerry 7105t users select Tools, and then Settings.
2. Scroll to and select Service Book.
3. Highlight Web Client [CMIME] and click the trackwheel.
4. From the menu, select Accept.
5. To return to the Home screen, press the Escape button (located below the trackwheel).
6. Send a test message to your BlackBerry Web Client address.

The Web Client [CMIME] Service Book has not been received

To send the Web Client [CMIME] Service Book to the device, perform the following steps:
1. Go to My T-Mobile and log in. For more information, go to How do I log in to My T-Mobile?
2. Verify that there is a picture of your device in the center of the T-Mobile home page. If there is not, click the Not your phone? link and select your device from the list before proceeding.
3. To access your BlackBerry Internet E-mail account, from Connect and Share, select Configure e-mail.
4. Locate the Settings menu.
5. To resend the Web Client Service Book, click Service Books.

NOTE: When the activation message is received on the handheld, the Service Book will be installed.
6. To verify that the BlackBerry Web Client Service Book is active, from the Home screen, select Options.
7. Scroll to and select Service Book.
8. Highlight Web Client [CMIME] and click the trackwheel.
9. Select View. The Record Type should be Active.
10. Send a test message to your BlackBerry Web Client address.
