How Do I Install the BlackBerry® Handheld Software?
NOTE: The following instructions were written using a PC running Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2. The software setup was performed using software designed for the BlackBerry 7290™ handheld. These steps will be similar for your Microsoft Windows version and your specific BlackBerry model.
NOTE: Your handheld comes preinstalled with the handheld software. To reinstall your handheld software or upgrade to a new version, you will need to download the installation package from T-Mobile.com. Also, ensure that you have installed the BlackBerry Desktop Software. For instructions on downloading and installing the BlackBerry software, go to:
To install the BlackBerry Handheld Software, perform the following steps:
1. From your desktop, double-click the installation icon. (This step assumes that you have saved the download to your desktop.)

2. From the Open File - Security Warning dialog box, click Run.

Note: The following screen will appear. When all the required installation files have been copied to your PC, installation will continue.

3. From the drop-down menu, click to select the country or region in which you are located, and then click Next.

4. Please read the Software License Agreement carefully. You must accept the terms of the agreement before you will be able to proceed. Click to select I accept the terms of the license agreement, and then click Next.

5. To exit the installer, click Finish.
