What is FlexPay?

With FlexPay, you can get access to T-Mobile’s great rate plans, the latest phones and a variety of services all with a predictable charge you will pay in advance every month.

What are the benefits of a FlexPay account?

FlexPay delivers all the benefits of our best wireless plans, including our Unlimited and FamilyTime® plans—without deposits, activation fees, or overages. Plus you will never be surprised by big overage charges because you cannot go over your plans Whenever Minutes.

How does FlexPay work?

Simply pay in advance for each month service. We will send you reminders so you will not forget. You will never be surprised by big overage charges because you cannot go over your plan’s Whenever Minutes. If you use up your Whenever Minutes, do not worry. How does FlexPay help me control my charges?

The great thing about FlexPay is there are no surprise bills. You pay in advance for your services, and your plan stops you from going over your Whenever Minutes so you will never worry about overages. If you use up your Whenever Minutes, do not worry. You can keep talking using funds from your FlexAccountSM or with any unlimited features that are part of your plan.

What rate plans are available to me?

T-Mobile offers our FlexPay customers a variety of plans including, our FamilyTime and new unlimited plans. Our plans provide you with free nationwide long distance and roaming to ensure that you keep in touch with those that matter most.

What phones are available to me?

All of T-Mobile's great phone and data-device selections are available, including myTouch™.

How is a FlexPay account different from a Prepaid account?

With FlexPay you have the all the benefits of a monthly T-Mobile rate plan including Family Time and Unlimited plans. Simply pay in advance for each month of service. We will send you reminders so you will not forget.

Does T-Mobile offer service agreement and no service agreement options?

Yes, we have both. Credit qualified customers can choose a FlexPay annual service agreement, and in return, you can take advantage of discounts and specials on T-Mobile phones and handsets. Or, you can choose a month-to-month agreement and pay your phone in installments.
If you do not want T-Mobile to perform a credit check, simply pay full invoice price for your handset up front and pay month-to-month. Either way, there are no deposits or activation fees required.
NOTE: Even if you go month-to-month, all T-Mobile customers are bound by T-Mobile’s Terms and Conditions.

Do I have to have a credit check to get a FlexPay Account?

No. FlexPay offers a no credit check option.

Are there any additional recurring charges to use FlexPay?

Yes, there is a monthly Control Charge of $4.99 per line that will be charged with each billing cycle. If you sign up with our EasyPay payment option, which automatically deducts your monthly service charge either from your credit/debit card or by electronic check, T-Mobile will waive the Control Charge.

How do I sign up for FlexPay?

FlexPay can be purchased through T-Mobile.com, a T-Mobile Retail Store, an authorized T-Mobile dealer or retailer location, or by calling 1-877-387-4324.

Can FlexPay customers sign up for EasyPay?

Yes. A great added benefit of signing up for EasyPay is getting the monthly Control Charge waived.

Can I share my minutes with the other lines on my FlexPay account?

T-Mobile’s FamilyTime plans allow you to share your minutes with those on your account. Adding additional shared services will give you even more ways to stay in touch with your family and friends.

Will I be able to use my phone nationwide?

FlexPay plans have access to great nationwide coverage. You will also be able to call and roam both in Canada and Mexico at affordable rates. For more information about international dialing and roaming rates, go to International Services.

Do I have free nationwide long distance?

Yes, you can dial anyone in the US; this service is included in your FlexPay rate plan.

Can FlexPay customers make international calls?

Yes, you can dial many countries, and at affordable rates. For more information about international rates, go to International Services.

Can I roam internationally?

Yes. FlexPay customers can roam on certain networks in Canada and Mexico.

How do I keep talking when I've run out of Whenever Minutes?

You can keep making Whenever Minute calls at a rate of $0.20 per minute, which automatically is deducted from your FlexAccountSM. Also, services included in your plan (such as unlimited nights and weekends, and unlimited T-Mobile to T-Mobile) are still available to you, allowing you to continue to reach out to those that matter the most. If you choose one of our great unlimited plans you never have to worry about running out of minutes.

What happens to my monthly minutes if I don’t pay my Payment Reminder on time?

Your minutes will not refresh at the beginning of your cycle, however you can continue to use the service by adding money to your FlexAccount. Your Whenever Minutes will refresh when your payment posts, with the amount of Whenever Minutes pro-rated based on the remaining days left in your billing cycle.

Can I continue to dial myFaves contacts even if I run out of Whenever Minutes?

Yes. A great benefit of FlexPay is that you can get a myFaves rate plan and continue reaching your Faves even when you have run out of Whenever Minutes.
NOTE: FlexPay EvenMore and Even More Plus customers do not receive this benefit.

How can I keep track of my Whenever Minutes balance?

When you are nearing the end of your Whenever Minutes, we will send you a text message to remind you. To keep track of how many minutes you have used at any point in your billing cycle, you can always check your balance by dialing #MIN# (#646#) from your T-Mobile phone or log in to My T-Mobile.

Can I pay my monthly charges with a credit/debit card on My T-Mobile?

Yes, you can log in to My T-Mobile and choose the Make a Payment button from the My T-Mobile home landing page, or under Manage, select Billing & Payments, and then select the Make a Payment button. Click the radio button next to ATM/debit or credit card and enter the required information. Click Next when finished.

Can I convert from a postpaid account to FlexPay before my service agreement is up?

At this time, current postpaid customers do not have an option to transition to a FlexPay account.

Can I convert from Prepay to FlexPay?

No. You can apply to activate a new FlexPay account.
