Display screen and icons

The Jump screen is your main view into the different applications. What you see on the screen depends on what applications you are using. However, there are some standard indicators that appear on the screen at all times. These indicators are located at the top of the screen and include the following:

This is the battery charging indicator. When your device is connected to the battery charger, a lightning bolt displays over the battery charge indicator, and the bars in the battery move from left to right. You will know that the battery is fully charged when the lightning bolt disappears and the battery bars stay in the full position.
This is the hot thermometer indicator. When your device is too hot, it will flash over the battery.
This is the cold thermometer indicator. When your device is too cold, it will flash over the battery.
This is the wireless signal strength indicator. The more signal bands showing, the stronger the signal strength of the wireless connection at your current location.
This is the no wireless connection indicator. It means you either have temporarily lost your network connection or have turned off your wireless connection from the Jump Settings > Wireless Options screen.
These are the connectivity status indicators. One dot in front of the wireless signal strength indicator means that the device is connecting to the GPRS network. Two dots in front of the wireless signal strength indicator mean that the device is receiving an IP address. This is the data roaming off indicator. It means that you are roaming on wireless services but have data roaming turned off on the Jump Settings > Wireless Options screen.
