Button functions
- Volume – Press to adjust the volume of your Pocket PC Phone.
- Infrared Port - Enables you to exchange files or data with other Pocket PC Phones without cables or wires.

Power - Press to turn on or off your Pocket PC Phone.
Backlight - Press and hold to turn the backlight on or off. - Speaker - Used to listen to audio media or a phone call.
- Contacts - Press to access your contacts.

Notification LED
- Flashing green (every three seconds) - GSM network signal
- Flashing green (every second) - notification alarm reminder
- Steady red - battery empty
- Flashing red - low battery
- Steady amber - battery charging
- Steady green - fully charged
- Calendar - Press to quickly access the calendar.

Phone On/Off - Press and hold to turn the phone feature on or off. -
Navigation Pad - Allows you to navigate through any of the drop-down menus or program instructions.
Left - When in the Dialer screen, press once to access the Speed Dial feature.
Right - When in the Dialer screen, press once to access the Call Log feature.
Center - Press to select selected options. - Microphone - Speak into the microphone when receiving and making a phone call or voice recording.

Dial - Press to dial a number. - Touch screen - Used for handwriting, drawing, or making a selection with the stylus.
Back panel components
- SIM card door - Open the rubber door to insert the SIM card.
- Stylus slot and stylus - The antenna has a neatly hidden slot for housing the stylus.
- Secure external battery - The optional external battery should be fastened here. (See the Attaching the External Battery section in chapter 2 of the user manual.)
- External battery connector cover - Remove this to uncover the connection between your Pocket PC Phone and the optional external battery.
- Main battery unit - The main battery is housed permanently inside the Pocket PC Phone. It should only be changed through an authorized sales center.
- External battery clip - Before screwing the external battery into position, please secure the clip on the bottom into this hole.
Bottom edge components
- Soft reset - Press the end of your stylus into the hole to reset your Pocket PC Phone.
- Sync connector - Use this connector when synchronizing and transmitting data or recharging.
- Earphone jack - Listen to audio media or use the phone hands-free kit.
- Battery on/Battery off switch - Press the end of the top-half of your stylus into the hole to return the Pocket PC Phone to factory settings.
- Battery off - Erase all the data from your Pocket PC Phone.
