The Motorola T720i is the phone that does it all! You can take pictures with the camera attachment, and e-mail them to any e-mail address or view them on your phone's color display.
Taking a picture and sending it to an e-mail address
To take a picture and then send it to an e-mail address, perform the following steps: | 1. | Attach the camera attachment to the bottom of the phone. |
| 2. | Access the Picture Msgs menu by pressing the Down Arrow key. |
| 3. | Scroll to Camera, and use the Right Soft key to press SELECT. |
NOTE: The camera activates, and the phone display screen becomes the viewfinder. | 4. | To take a picture, use the Right Soft key to select CAPTURE. |
NOTE: Wait a few seconds for the image to be displayed on the screen. | 5. | To accept the image, use the Right Soft key to select KEEP. To discard the image, use the Left Soft key to select DISCARD. |

NOTE: The New Message screen appears with the picture attached. | 7. | Scroll to To. Use the Right Soft key to select CHANGE. |

Taking a picture and sending it to a phone number
To take a picture and then send it to a phone number, perform the following steps: | 1. | Attach the camera attachment to the bottom of the phone. |

Tips on using the camera attachment
For best results: - Maintain a distance of 1.5 meters (about 5 feet) from the subject
- Avoid subjects with sharp contrasts between light and dark
- Keep the camera still and at a right angle to the subject
- Use good lighting conditions
- Adjust the settings for the best pictures

 Photo Size You can change the size of the picture your phone takes. The bigger the picture, the longer it takes to send. To change the picture size, perform the following steps: | 1. | From the Picture Msgs menu, scroll to and select Settings. |

 Low Light Use the Low Light setting to allow more light in when taking pictures in dark settings. | 1. | From the Settings menu, scroll to and select Low Light. |
NOTE: When you exit the picture messaging application, the setting defaults to normal.
 Light Frequency The Light Frequency setting relates to the frequency of the power at the electrical outlet. This is a required setting based on location. If you travel internationally with your phone, and you take pictures using indoor lighting, you need to change the Light Frequency setting to compensate. NOTE: The Light Frequency setting has NO effect on photographs taken with outdoor lighting. | 1. | From the Settings menu, scroll to and select Light Frequency. |

NOTE: The setting for the US is 60Hz. The setting for Europe is 50Hz.
 Troubleshooting - When sending to another MSISDN, the recipient MUST have an MMS/picture messages-capable phone to receive the message properly. If they do not have an MMS-capable phone, content will be stripped, and they will receive the message as text only.
NOTE: The image will not come through at all. It is also possible that only a portion of the text will come through. - When an MMS message is sent to a non-MMS phone, the sender will receive the following message on their phone:
+14251112222 can only receive text messages. Your picture message was delivered as text only.NOTE: This error message will only appear when sending phone-to-phone. E-mail-to-phone may not receive an error message. - The Photo Msgs application is a Java application that is communicating between the camera and the phone. Users will notice a delay when saving, sending, and taking pictures.
- When sending a picture immediately after taking it, the message field is pre-filled with an envelope. This indicates that the picture has been inserted.
- To check the status of sent messages, from the Message menu, scroll to and select Outbox.

 Compatibility Motorola T720i → Sony Ericsson T300 The Motorola T720i can send any type of message to the Sony Ericsson T300. Sony Ericsson T300 → Motorola T720i - The Sony Ericsson T300 cannot send pictures larger than 640 x 320 (Full VGA) to the Motorola T720i.
- If the Sony Ericsson T300 sends a slide show with iMelody to the Motorola T720i, the slide show will play but the sound will not be played.
- If the Sony Ericsson T300 sends a recorded voice (AMR file) to the Motorola T720i, the image and text will display but the sound will not be played.
